Miniature Masterworks: Mark Murphy

Mark Murphy’s miniature making began with an interest in the forms of the functional, classic furniture models. Although he began with Shaker pieces, he has expanded to other early American styles: William and Mary, Queen Anne, Pennsylvania Dutch, and Arts and Crafts. Murphy has collaborated with many fellow fine-scale artists to create pieces that work well in a setting alongside other miniature works

Murphy is one of more than sixty artists participating in Miniature Masterworks, September 15-17, 2017.

Miniature Masterworks: Masako Sharra

Masako Sharra is attending Miniature Masterworks as an Emerging Artist, a special designation recognizing new and rising talent in fine-scale miniature making.
